Have you ever been in a situation when you’re not hungry, but your tummy starts to growl by just looking at the menu? What started with a search for coffee, ended into an extensive lunch.
Café de Bóbbel is located in the shopping street of the bustling Maastricht. With its large windows and bright lights shining from the inside, it will capture your attention while passing by. The interior is classy; a marble stoned bar in the middle of the restaurant and a wall displaying bottles of liquor in the back. It will almost feel like you’ve arrived at a bar in London.
Here comes the exciting part, the menu. There’s a wide range of dishes that will appeal to your appetite. If you don’t want to eat a typical sandwich for lunch, then this is where we suggest you to go, because they serve dinner dishes all day long, and all at the same price (13,50 € per dish). For starters, give their Serrano Ham a try, it has a smooth texture and you receive a generous portion. Craving for warm dishes? Go for their Spaghetti al Tartufo, which is a creamy pasta with truffles, and their juicy Lamb chops with Couscous. All dishes were presented nicely, a small point of improvement would be the bowl of the lamb chop. It was hard to cut the lamb chop as the bowl was quite small, so we would suggest to serve this on a plate like the pasta.
Good place for extensive lunch and dinner, and remarkable service!
