L.A. Sushi

Eating Sushi on a first date will increase your chances of a second date by a 170 percent. It’s a universal fact. The other 30% to secure the next date is just up to you not screwing up. Therefore, you should watch the how to handle chopsticks Youtube tutorial and please don’t try to impress anyone by adding more wasabi than what’s strictly necessary. Spice up the date not the soy sauce !

At L.A. Sushi they have a superb selection of Wines. They source them from well-known brand vineyards. Get a glass of wine and start off by sharing a Tempura tigre appetizer and a Miso soup.

By the time it’s already sushi o’clock start ordering the most appealing and sexy Rolls. For instance, Crunchy Spicy Tuna (a MUST) or the Churr’ n Roll (salmon, avocado, flabéed scallops enhanced with a pungent sauce). Sea bass flambé nigiri topped with miso sauce is a very safe and tasty choice. However, if you rather fancy a tartare, get the tuna one bathed in Kimuchi dressing.

The venue is newly renovated. Staff is professional, welcoming and helpful. The vibes are more of an uptown restaurant where quality is their most important asset. The presentation of their dishes and the perfectionism of their chefs make the whole experience worth it.

Are you in for an exotic happy ending? Either the green tea and sake truffles or the superstar Choco-Wasabi Fondant. This last one has a funny flavour. If you don’t enjoy it, remember that there is plenty of sake waiting for you. The magic word is not ‘please’ this time. It’s actually bottoms up!
