We always love Italian for their passion on food and this spirit can be attained from Peter Boizot, the founder of Pizza Express. Unhappy with the pizzas he had in London, he shipped over a real pizza oven and knocked down a wall in a small restaurant to squeeze it in. The very first Pizza Express on Wardour Street in Soho is open.
We are very fortunate that Pizza Express ventures its way to Singapore. With over 500 outlets around the world, they serve awesome pizzas made in the same individual way. Pizza Express has 2 outlets in Singapore with the latest at Duo Galleria. Another 2 outlets will be opening soon and we’re totally excited about it.
The menu at Pizza Express changes every half-yearly to keep ideas and our tastebuds excited. We also love that we have this Pizza Buffet Brunch on weekends whereby you get unlimited servings of breakfast pizzas and alcohol. This is life!
If you love your not too thin nor doughy pizza crust, this is the place for you! We enjoyed their Laksa Pizza and you must try it to experience the true Singaporean flavour on an Italian Pizza. Laksa is a popular spicy coconut based noodle soup that consists of rice noodles or vermicelli with chicken, prawn or fish. The rendition of this is superb as it successfully captured the essence of the laksa and make the pizza unique and extra tasty.
Do you only want some bites because you are craving for that pizza dough? Order their Dough Balls Doppio where their famous chewy dough balls are served with homemade garlic butter, pesto Siciliano and pesto Genovese. These could whet your appetite almost instantly!
Pizza Express also offers decent varieties of pasta and desserts but when you get so satisfied with those good pizzas, you hardly need anything else. Take away and delivery services are available too.
Ultimately, it’s all about the pizza, a very good one!
